The Internet of things (IoT) is the internet working of physical devices, buildings and other stuff embedded with electronics, software,sensors and network connectivity which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. It is the road-map to a connected world.
During this class participants will learn more about programming and connecting devices together in a network. They will learn how to control in manual or automatic mode these devices and equipment using different type of sensors. Since it is a more advanced class, knowing Arduino or Basics of Electronics is required prior to accessing this class.
The main goal of IoT class is to teach youngsters and not only how client-server architecture works and can be used to program networks in Arduino, communication between applications, and practicing all these in actual projects.
Using the knowledge in this class participants can create home automation systems that control lights, temperature, exchanging information between them.
