Description of the class

MINECRAFT AND COMPUTERS is a first-level-class, where children are engaged in understanding computers while disassembling and assembling them. By means of MINECRAFT and its “building through blocks” system, children are encouraged to be creative, and develop problem-solving skills. During the course children are introduced to different technologies such as the Kano Computer Kit, block programming, and elementary 3D design. More importantly children are encouraged to use their imagination and create, through MINECRAFT, all sorts of objects like treehouses, cities, planes, or pixel art. In addition, they learn to work, cooperate, and compromise with their peers.

Mentor

Suela has graduated in Computer Science at the University of Prishtina. She is currently studying for her Masters Degree in Computer Science and Engineering at UBT College in Prishtina. She started to work at BONEVET Prishtina in 2017 as littleBits assistant mentor and Lego Robotics mentor. From November 2017 she is littlebits and LEGO robotics mentor and from January she is full time mentor of littleBits, Droid and Lego Robotics classes.
